My Winter Vacation
I have just finished my winter vacation which lasted for about a month. During the holiday, I did a lot of things that I had been looking forward to doing.
At the beginning of my winter vacation, I spent several days at home with my family. We talked, played games, watched TV series together and had delicious meals. We also went shopping several times and bought some new clothes for the New Year. It was a very warm and happy time.
Later, I went to a winter camp with my classmates. It was my first time to go to a camp completely on my own, without my parents or teachers. I was nervous at first, but I soon found that it was a great adventure. We did many outdoor activities, such as skiing, hiking, and making snowmen. We also had some indoor activities like playing board games and having discussions on various topics. I made many new friends there and had a wonderful time.
When the camp was over, I went back to my hometown and celebrated the Chinese New Year with my family. We had a big feast and watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV together. We also lit firecrackers and hung up red lanterns to welcome the coming of the Year of the Rat.The rest of my winter vacation was spent on reading books, watching movies, and practicing singing and playing an instrument. I also did some volunteer work and helped some elderly people with running errands. It was a meaningful and fulfilling experience.
Now the winter vacation is over, and I have returned to school. I feel refreshed and full of energy. I am ready to study hard and learn more new knowledge and skills. I hope that I can make progress in all aspects of my life.
